Dr Hani Naoum
Dr Hani Naoum is a registered dental specialist in the field of Endodontics and Dental Traumatology. Dr Naoum graduated with his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree in 1994 and after few years of general dental practice in New Zealand and Overseas, Dr Naoum developed interest in the field of Endodontics. That led him to extend his education and complete Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) degree in Endodontics from the University of Otago in 2001. Following his specialist training, Dr Naoum practiced in specialist endodontic practice in Canberra, Australia for over three years before returning to Auckland when he established his office in Auckland City. Dr Naoum enjoys all aspects of Endodontics but has special interest in biomechanical cleaning and shaping of the root canal space and treating dental trauma and tooth resorption. Dr Naoum lectured both nationally and internationally and authored several scientific original research and review papers published in well-respected, peer reviewed local and international journals.
Dr Naoum is married, has three children and lives in Auckland. He enjoys playing soccer and music, he is a passionate photographer and keen sailor.

Honorary Treasurer of the NZ Society of Endodontics, a member of the Auckland and New Zealand Dental Associations, American Society of Endodontics, International Association of Dental Traumatology, Australia and New Zealand Academy of Endodontists, and the Australasian Society of Implant Dentistry.
Dr Shraddha Patel
Dr. Shraddha Patel is a registered specialist endodontist with extensive experience in both public and private dental settings across New Zealand and Australia. She graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery with Credit from the University of Otago in 2007, followed by a year as a dental house surgeon at Greenlane and Middlemore Hospitals in Auckland. After 14 years as a general dentist, she returned to Dunedin to complete her Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (Endodontics) in 2023 with the aid of a Doctoral Scholarship.
Dr. Patel’s doctoral research explored the impact of Type II diabetes on blood vessel formation in teeth, providing insights into their healing potential. She is a recipient of the ANZAE Sir John M Booth Award in 2023.
She holds a Fellowship in General Dental Practice (FRACDS) and a Membership in Endodontics (MRACDS) with the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons. Dr. Patel is also a member of the Auckland Dental Association, New Zealand Dental Association, New Zealand Society of Endodontists, the Australia and New Zealand Academy of Endodontists, and the American Association of Endodontists. She has published scientific articles in national and international journals.
Known for her calm and patient-centred approach, Dr. Patel ensures a comfortable and positive experience for all patients. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring new food spots, travelling, and spending time with friends and family.
Antoinette Hartley
Antoinette is our Practice Manager and office administrator. Antoinette has been in the dental industry since 1997 . She is a certified Dental Assistant with a NZDA qualification in chair side assisting. After a few years of working as a Dental Assistant in Auckland, Antoinette moved to the United Kingdom to work as a Dental Assistant for 5 years. Upon her return to New Zealand in 2008 Antoinette joined Endodontic Solutions and has been working with us since. Antoinette is married to Dan and has one daughter Olivia.
Hazel Veloria
Hazel joined us in March 2017 after living in Wellington for 6 years where she worked in general dentistry and with a variety of dental specialists. Hazel recently completed her New Zealand Dental Assistants certificate training. When Hazel is not at work she is kept busy with her husband and three children and loves baking and cake decorating which she is very good at! Hazel originates from the Philippines, has lived and worked in Austria and can speak four languages.
Kuh B Escalante
Kuh is the newest member to join Endodontic Solutions in December 2024. Originally from the Philippines, Kuh moved to New Zealand recently with her husband and son after living and working in Kuwait and Abu Dhabi as a Dental Assistant. Kuh also has a medical nursing background. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, spending time with her family and exploring our beautiful country. Kuh is looking forward to completing her New Zealand Dental Assistant qualification in the near future.
